The Phlexx live submerged in hot, swirling water, saturated with a delicate blend of more than one hundred dissolved minerals.

Their ancestors were something like Earth's giant octopuses, with twelve long, thin, well-coordinated arms. At the end of each arm is a leaf-shaped pad with twelve white sucker disks on one side, in two rows.

Over the last four hundred thousand years, the Phlexx have developed a fabulous underwater technology.
