For activities in environments other than hot water, the Phlexx encase themselves in sleek, sealed walking pods. Each walking pod has four three-jointed legs, eight strong but sensitive nanoservoid tentacles, and a one-meter plexiplast dome, inside of which can be seen the phlexx's smooth, pink head, with two large, intelligent, bright red eyes. They use their twelve tentacles to control the pod's twelve limbs.
